AMI was founded by Maria Montessori herself. Only schools that respect the entirety of the pedagogy — teacher training, materials, environment, cycle duration — obtain recognition. We are fully committed to it.

6-12 YEARS

Start with the child's interests, theach them the value of effort .

Students are welcomed into a bilingual environment with a French-speaking AMI educator and an English-speaking educator.

 

The Montessori curriculum includes the PER (Roman Study Plan). Montessori is a project-based pedagogy that allows the child to be an active participant in their learning.

 

The educator will arouse the child's interest and curiosity to nurture their joy and satisfaction in discovering and producing.

MONTESSORI IN ELEMENTARY

The educator will arouse the child's interest and curiosity to nurture their joy and satisfaction in discovering and producing.

Mutual support and kindness among students help to create a healthy environment conducive to learning and self-improvement.

The students vote and organize class outings. They take on responsibilities for the class group and lead debates every week.

Singing, theatre, sports, computer and German classes are offered every week.

Each lesson is valuable and should engage the child, leading them to practice the concept presented later. The concept is grasped when the child applies it during projects and independent work.

French • English

Not 'English lessons' — real immersion. Each environment has at least one native French-speaking and one native English-speaking educator, present all day. Children switch naturally.

ADMISSIONS · FALL 2026

Places limited .

Admissions are based on application, followed by an interview and an observation morning in the appropriate environment.
